Patient Information

Your Appointment:

An appointment in our schedule is a bond of trust and mutual respect. Our time is reserved especially for you. We believe frequent cancelations and short notice changes disrupt the quality of your treatment and the attainment of your wellness. We reserve the right to charge for appointments canceled or broken without advance notice (24 hours).

Treating the Child Dental Patient:
The most challenging aspect of children's dentistry is to provide safe and proper treatment for children who may be too young, too fearful or anxious to cooperate, who have complex dental needs.  Our philosophy is to provide the safest experience for your child.  Parent's attitudes and expectations are the key to their child's behavior and cooperation.  For simple dental needs, treatment can be accomplished with simple demonstrations and hand holding in the dental chair.  This is a team effort between parent, child, and dentist which relies on cooperation, timing and trust.

More extensive treatments or your child's inability to cooperate would indicate the need for referral to pediatric dentists.  Pediatric dentists are specialists with extensive training in managing children and their complex care.  They can offer laughing gas (nitrous oxide) mild to deep sedation with or without physical stabilization and if extensive treatment is needed general anesthesia either in an office or in the hospital.  We will be happy to provide an initial evaluation and discuss all aspects of the above options to better help you decide where your child is best treated.

Your Investment:

Quality dental care is one of the best investments you will ever make...an investment in your health! Payment is requested at the time of service. We accept cash, check or credit card. Financial arrangements may be made prior to your treatment.

Dental Benefit Plans:
Many of our patients have a dental plan. We will help you utilize your dental benefits, however the treatments best for you may or may not be covered by your dental plan. The range of benefits and percent covered varies from plan to plan. The financial responsibility for dental services is between you and our office. We will file your dental benefit claims after each visit. Patients are responsible for any deductible and co-payments. Financial arrangements may be made prior to your treatment. We are here to help you and to answer any of your questions.
